I went from Japan to America's Crystal River to swim with Florida manatees. Since they are protected, I took a boat from the local dive shop to search for them. After seeing a few individuals we moved on in search of clear water. I did not expect to meet them in the clear water was a little too warm for manatees due to spring, but I was able to be with some manatees. I was not wearing fins, so I can't move quickly. I just stayed. One manatee approached and seemed to kiss me.
