Parallel
クサイロモウミウシ。リーフシープとも呼ばれ、羊を連想させるフォルムです。特定の種類の海藻を餌として生活し、海藻の葉緑体を体内に取り込み背中に蓄えて光合成を行います。一枚の葉に、複数のウミウシが集まることもあります。

Parallel
They are Costasiella paweli, a kind of tiny nudibranch, about 5mm in size. It is called leaf sheep as it looks but they can actually take in chloroplasts and store them on their backs for photosynthesis. They live and breed on a specific type of seaweed, which is their lifeblood. Sometimes many nudibranch live on a single piece of leaf. I captured that one moment.
